Slightly off the beaten path, but only a short
and pleasant stroll along Charlotte Amalie's breeze-swept waterfront,
is the picturesque harborside community of Frenchtown. It's here that
you will find one of St. Thomas' special hideaways, Hook Line &
Sinker.
Since 1987, the restaurant has been a favorite gathering spot for both
locals and visitors alike. Not only is the food excellent, the service
friendly and attentive, but the atmosphere is magical.
The first thing you'll notice is the restaurant's enviable location --
smack dab on the water with a view of the entire harbor and the boats
that bob lazily by. Next you'll notice the architecture. Hook Line
& Sinker is reminiscent of a restaurant found in a New England
seaport village (with a Caribbean accent, of course). From its pitched
roof and skylights to the wrap-around French doors and windows, the
restaurant is stunningly beautiful.
